IN GOMETEGUI INDUSTRIAL

We have followed a new operations management model since March 2019. The search for OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE is one of our strategic axes. Therefore, we decided to implement a management system based on the principles of LEAN MANUFACTURING.

We start with the management of QUICK RESPONSE at two levels:

  1. Management team: A daily meeting of 15 minutes led by the General Manager and in which the managers of the following areas participate: Security, Commercial, Project Management, Production, Maintenance, Quality and Costs. All these business areas are reviewed, and results are evaluated against the defined KPIs. Objective: To establish the priorities of the day and analyze the causes of deviations to act proactively, to respect commitments to our customers.
  2. Production Team: A weekly meeting of 15 minutes led by the Production Director and in which all production staff participates. Objective: To analyze the production results in the different areas and establish the priorities for the week. The results in different areas are reviewed involving all the staff in search of the best solutions.

The workforce welcomed the new system as they are obtaining positive results, including reaching the delivery deadlines with our customers.

It is a continuous improvement system that should lead us to achieve progress in all areas and improve our competitiveness, achieving a higher customer satisfaction.
