Manufacture of various stern rollers for the Norwegian shipping industry.
This component is designed to allow the transport of heavy objects, such as chains or anchors, without damaging the stern of the ships.
They weigh more than 110 tonnes and are more than 6 metres long and 4 metres in diameter.

For the manufacture of this component, Gometegui collaborated with the client from the engineering phase, contributing its knowledge for the correct manufacturing process of the part, to the packaging phase for the final transport to its destination.
To ensure the final quality of the part, various sizing, ultrasonic and liquid penetrant tests were carried out, among others.
